Porsche 964 Targa 4

Some Porsches become rare because so many have disappeared. This one was rare from the very beginning.

Only 1,329 examples of the Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 4 Targa were produced, making it one of the rarest variants of the 964 generation. This particular car is an early production example and was delivered new in Austria. Combining the iconic Targa roof with Porsche’s advanced all-wheel-drive system derived from the legendary Porsche 959, it represents an important chapter in Porsche engineering.

Finished in the iconic Indischrot (Guards Red), this 964 is exactly how many enthusiasts like to see an air-cooled 911. It features the desirable Raff leather interior, remains largely in its original first paint, and still retains its original wheels, mirrors and factory details. It is an honest, highly original example.
Power comes from the renowned 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six, paired with the Carrera 4 all-wheel-drive system. Developed using technology pioneered in the Porsche 959, it was one of the most sophisticated AWD systems of its time and still provides outstanding stability and confidence on today’s roads.

The car is also equipped with air conditioning, making it an enjoyable classic to drive throughout the year.
