Yet the 928 is a car that deserves so much more than it has ever received in appreciation.
And not just the 928. Its less powerful brothers, namely the 924, 944 and 968, have for years unjustly lived in the shadow of Porsche's favourite, the 911.

The 928 is like a RIB speedboat with a minibar: always up for chit-chat and games, but if necessary, it will take you from the Wadden to the Rotterdam Riviera with the greatest of ease and in no time at all.
A particularly capable super-gran turismo, it deserved so much more, but after a lifetime in the shadows, it is finally getting the appreciation it deserves.
Our copy; the 928 S4 was delivered Dutch 1987 and has only 130 dkm. driven and is in exceptionally nice condition, we have already had the timing belt and water pump complete with the rollers replaced, the car has also had a major service.
